Brief description

Our Cardiff based team are seeking a Sales Support Officer to assist with general administration of the buy-to-let sales department. If you have strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and customer service skills, then we want to hear from you.

Purpose of the role

To work within a small team who carry out a variety of in-house duties to assist the division in achieving its business objectives and targets.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Assist with general administration of the buy-to-let sales department
  • Maintain relevant product data on internal and external mortgage sourcing systems
  • Maintain lender criteria documents and liaise with lender contacts
  • Dealing with queries from internal departments and external contacts
  • Assist in the maintenance of data provided internally and to external sources
  • Assist the New Business Manager in the preparation of business reports

Skills

  • A good team player
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A high level of numeracy and attention to detail are essential as are good keyboard skills
  • Preparation of reports requires a high degree of accuracy and logic checking
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and an understanding of the Treating Customers Fairly ethos

Qualifications and experience

Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm (one hour for lunch). A flexible approach to working hours is required.
