Do you have excellent customer service and presentation skills? Are you always striving to maximise business opportunities? We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to work within our Bank’s vehicle finance division. If you have previous experience of working in sales and leasing, get in touch.

Purpose of the role

To proactively seek new clients and revenue for the company and effectively convert those leads to meet volume and income targets, whilst working with other departments across the Paragon Group. You will be responsible for liaising with existing and prospective clients, and internal and external customers to ensure relationships are built and maintained, helping achieve business targets.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Build and maintain direct relationships utilising other introductory sources, for example Accountants, Vendors or Client referral
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of new enquiries, attend networking events and identify and secure opportunities for new business and contacts
  • Complete risk templates for sanction of the facility and chase outstanding enquires and paperwork on deals
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the asset based finance industry including Paragon products and services, competitors, introducers, risks, client industry, market and sectors
  • Work cross functionally to exceed client expectations
  • Continuous focus on customer led process improvements
  • Assist the Director of Sales and contribute to the smooth running of the team
  • Provide consistent and accurate information on the CRM systems to support the production and completion of regular sales analysis and reports
  • Maintain, manage and protect customer information and data
  • Understand and prepare asset finance proposals for underwriting

Skills

  • A high level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work alone but also as part of a team
  • Able to interpret statutory and management accounts
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Qualifications and experience

A full UK driving licence and previous experience of working in a sales related environment essential. Previous finance experience in leasing desired.

Working hours

The expected working hours are approximately 40 hours per week. This time should be managed accordingly, to business needs. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5.30pm (one hour for lunch).
