Brief description

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to assist in all areas of income and cost analysis for the group financial planning and analysis team. Duties & responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of the Group’s management reporting packs
  • Assist in KPI reporting and monitoring
  • Assist in trend and sensitivity analysis 
  • Assist in the departmental cost review and challenge process
  • Assist in the production of the Group’s five-year planning and reforecast processes
  • Undertake analytical reviews, variance analysis, and commentary on the group profit and loss
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships across the Group whilst ensuring high quality deliverables

  • Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, written and numerical skills
  • Able to adopt a logical and systematic approach to problem solving
  • Flexible and able to adapt within a changing environment
  • Able to prioritise tasks and meet challenging deadlines
  • Ability to deliver accurate, high quality work and reports and ensure consistent performance when under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

Qualifications and experience

Must be educated to degree level with a minimum of a 2:1. You will have previous work or study experience of working with profit and loss / balance sheets and be willing to study or already be studying towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification.

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch).


Relevant training will be provided.
