Do you know your Magic Wand from your Pen Tool? We’re looking for a Creative Artworker to join our in-house Design team! If you feel most at home in front of a Mac, can demonstrate a high level of creativity and excellent knowledge of design packages, then this could be the role for you.

Purpose of the role

Support the Design team in creating production ready artwork based upon creative concepts, and following established brand guidelines to create new collateral.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Work with the Design team bringing creative concepts to life and produce high quality, production-ready artwork of all types
  • Produce new creative collateral within established brand guidelines
  • Make amends to existing documentation / websites / presentations as required, ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained
  • Alongside the wider Design and Digital function, act as a brand guardian; ensuring adherence to brand guidelines at all times
  • Effectively manage own daily workload within agreed timescales – communicating effectively with internal stakeholders should priority clashes occur
  • Liaise with the Group’s printing house, ensuring printed materials are produced and delivered to agreed timescales / finishes and are of an acceptable quality
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory processes such as sign off and document management

Skills

  • A high level of creativity and a well developed aesthetic sensibility, demonstrated through a portfolio of strong creative work
  • Mac proficient with excellent knowledge of all appropriate design packages such as Adobe Creative Suite (CS6 or later)
  • Microsoft Office skills that include Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task and switch focus as required. Organise own workload based upon business priorities, self-manage and prioritise several projects at once, whilst keeping to set deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications and experience

Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics and a recognised qualification in Graphic Design or related subject. A year's commercial experience desired.

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch).

Training

Relevant training will be provided.
